About the Founder
My name is Chris Tokpah, and I am passionate about positively impacting education in Liberia. I taught math and physics at various schools in Liberia, including Presbyterian School (Gardnersville), Muslim Congress High School (Monrovia), Suehn Industrial Mission (Bomi County), Special Project High School (Gardnersville), St. Francis High School (Paynesville), and Rock International Christian Academy (Paynesville).
After earning a BSc. in Mathematics with a minor in Physics at the University of Liberia, I received a scholarship to pursue further studies in the United States. I earned an M.B.A. with a concentration in Management Information Systems and a Ph.D. in Education with an emphasis on Program Evaluation and Measurement from Kent State University.
In the U.S., I have taught at several institutions, including Kent State University (OH), Cuyahoga County Community College (OH), Indiana Tech University (IN), Walden University (online), and Delaware Valley University (PA). I am a co-founder and Managing Partner of the Center for Research, Evaluation, and Policy, a Liberian consulting firm. I also serve as the Vice Chairman of the Board of Refuge Place International, an NGO that provides healthcare to vulnerable Liberians, and as the Vice President of the Augustus Richardson Memorial Foundation, an NGO that offers academic support to underprivileged Liberian students. Please join us so that we can work to improve education in Liberia.
